New config script will be written as a part of Google Summer of Code 2008 (Project proposal).

You can check out the code by using data below:

 SVN server: https://svn.nq.pl/pma/
 Login: guest
 Password: guest

Place it into folder ./setup/ below your phpMyAdmin installation. The easiest way to stay up to date with the project is to set svn:externals property on root phpMyAdmin directory to "setup https://svn.nq.pl/pma/trunk/".

Weekly reports are sent to MySQL Summer of Code list.
